The Help #3

The Help #3

After Abilene starts helping Skeeter write her story about the point of views of African American maids, Minny starts helping write the story by telling her story. Skeeters friend, Hilly who is very against blacks and whites being integration. She finds a book that Skeeter is using to write her story and Hilly does not approve, she takes the book and says nothing to Skeeter about but knows that Hilly is on to her. An African American gets killed by the KKK, which scares all Africans and Skeeter, so they have to be more carful about their meetings. In the image is Skeeter, Minny, and Abilene telling their stories as Skeeter writes them down. Minny is giving Skeeter attitude like always for asking certain questions, she doesn't want to answer, or getting too personal. Abilene starts to write down her stories for its not so difficult to talk to a white women. "Hang on", Miss Skeeter would say to Abilene as she would go into deep details about her life. I think that having Skeeter have to say hang on means that their stories are really wanting to be told and they are ready to get them out.
